Peninsula Barcode For Filemaker 8.5 is a completely new plugin which enables filemaker users to make and print barcodes direct from filemaker layouts. This functionality was previously unavailable in Filemaker 8.5.
To make a barcode you simply require one calculation field in filemaker, no scripts and no linked files. There is full control over width, height, BWR (bar width reduction to allow for ink spread) and whether the text is shown underneath.
A full range of barcode types are available, including RSS14, ISBN13 and Datamatrix.
Real world tutorials on using Peninsula barcode plugins are used on Filemakers own website in a series of how to guides for FSA members, written by Filemaker Consultant, Author and Guru Arthur Evans.
